Participated in this event sponsored by IDEO and RIOT as part of a quarter long project. My team’s main goal was to design online chatrooms that facilitate healthy discussion while limiting toxic interactions for support casual gamers in emerging communities.
Forest of the Forsaken
Co-Designer & Programmer
January-May 2019
Co-led a group of 4 to create a two-dimensional scrolling/turn based RPG hybrid game where the user is tasked with beating several dungeon levels with a character of their choice. Utilized SFML, a C++ variant, to incorporate animations, build the engine, and design combat. Personally worked on the game & character design, level design, and combat mechanics.
